What I Wore To NYFW Vol 2: LBD

By KristySamone — October 03, 2012

I was so proud to wear this not-so-ordinary little black dress by ESPION: Atelier during New York Fashion Week. I felt chic while interviewing Jill Stuart backstage, writing notes at the Son Jung Wan runway show, and during my interview with men’s accessory designer François-Régis Laporte, which I’ll be posting next week (actually, I’ll be posting men’s shows all next week:) Thanks again to Deidre Jefferies and for allowing me to feel like not only a fashion femme fatale but a BOND GIRL! The outside garter belt was too cool! Shout out to Robert Shanklin for the introduction.

Backstage with Jill Stuart after the interview with my girls Diamond Leone and Madinah James:)

I've been trying keep us with this and life ever since:) Thanks so much for reading!

I am catching up on all your reports from NYFW, Kristy - looks like you had a blast. Your dress is laid back and cool but elegant. I see you are interviewing Jill Stuart - I'm curious to know what you are doing - are you a television reporter?

Hi! I had so much fun (it was exhausting - ha - but totally worth it)! In fact, I can hardly keep up with the material (trying to post daily about at least one runway show/presentation and about the cool dressed people I saw). Thanks for calling the dress elegant! The designer will love that (all of her stuff is so cool...ESPION). One of my highlights was the Jill Stuart interview. I spent seven days rushing like a madwoman to get backstage for interviews, pics of models before undressing, etc. I'm a tv producer by profession (but not in fashion). So, this totally is all on the side - the world's most fab hobby, if you will:) I'm goaling to make more video shorts and eventually longer videos of places I go and people I see. Every day I work with editors and graphic artists (on other projects), but slowly I'm combining my worlds:)
