Hello Fashion Femme Fatales and Gents! I’ve missed you! Forgive my brief hiatus, but it has been a reallllly busy two weeks chocked with life-changing events. I work for the federal government and the lot of us were furloughed for about three weeks (all happily back at work as of last Friday). Needless to say, it was quite unexpected but the show must go on. This leads me to the biggest event in my entire life, which happened on Saturday, October 12th! My wedding! I cannot wait to post pics of everything from the custom- made dessert stand centerpieces placed on every table, to reenactment movie posters, to my three dresses, to my hubby’s smooth dance moves! First, I’ll start with the “wedding trailer” by great friend Karl of Webbitron Media Group edited for us. Karl, beloved friend and our wedding editor, is busy crafting our video (to be shown in our Los Angeles party next year to those who couldn’t attend the Virginia nuptials). However, Karl just sent us a “teaser gift” – something we weren’t expecting …a wedding trailer. Our dear friend, Mary Estacion, sang Ave Maria to “kick off” the wedding. Here is Karl’s beautiful montage recap. I feel good to be back.

I'm a media strategist, fashion fan and whimsical event planner. For years, I've been "reporting" from fashion shows and fabulous events to my loved one out of pure joy. Unbeknowest to me in February 2012 my sister started kristysamone.com with photos and letters I'd sent her from New York Fashion Week. She said, "I think you need a blog!" LOL! I've been trying keep us with this and life ever since:) Thanks so much for reading!View all KristySamone posts.
