Yesterday I had a blast at the “Warby Parker Class Trip!” Now, what is that you may ask? Well, it’s a school bus traveling the U.S. with Warby P. frames to try on/purchase. It’ll be parked in Washington, D.C. until Nov 25th before departing for the next location. This was perfect timing, because of my desperate need of new glasses. If you’ve been following my blog since April (thank you!), you may remember my post on helping me choose a pair. On the WP bus, the atmosphere was beyond cool with reps dressed in the most adorable collegiate-themed uniforms, head-nodding music and attendees trying on everything from everyday frames to “Benjamin Franlinesque” monacles! I had to get the “new-new,” so I purchased “The Duckworth” in slate blue & black (see the pics below). In fact, yesterday was the Duckworth’s debut!:) I tried on a few others, including “sunnies,” for kicks. Oh and the price cannot be beat for fashion-forward eyewear! My two cost only $250 and honey, my prescription is thick! Ha! Besides the price, what’s the best part of all this? For every pair of frames bought, Warby Parker donates a pair to those in need. Doing good & looking good!!
While we are on the theme of updating looks, I tried on a few wigs at home yesterday to figure out my new style. I’ll usually try them on for inspiration-ha! I have an upcoming trip to LA next week and I wanna arrive “fresh.” Do you think any of the colors or styles work? My hair appointment is next week, so I’ll be sure to post that decision, as well:)
Have a wonderful weekend Fashion Femme Fatales!
