Meet Les. He…perhaps, is the coolest guy I know. He truly lives life to the fullest and after a long hiatus – has returned to the bike. He said simply, “Kids are gone so it’s time to play again.” Les trips me out! I love his style, too…on or off the bike you can’t get any smoother. Now, he’s rubbing off on me. Since he’s started riding again, my interest has grown for that BAD GIRL motorcycle look:) I’ve been checking out jackets (vintage types) and t-shirts (I’m wearing a tee from Urban Outfitters below).
I asked Les to kick some knowledge about biker jackets: “Speaking of jackets, we all want to look cool and maybe scratch that rebellious spot once in awhile. Nothing does it better than a biker jacket. Lay that leather across the shoulders and poof – instant cool. You can spend some heavy cash on some of the rare vintage jackets from the 30’s to the 60’s. 5 grand is not unheard of. . . If thats the money you have look for Langlitz (celebs favorite), Schott, Buco, Buegeleisen, and Grais (there are others). But if your like me look to ebay and Canada. For whatever reason (more leather?) you can get some great deals. You get to look like Brando or Dean or McQueen. But you got to ask yourself , ‘Am I a poser or do I need to get a bike to go along with this leather?’ Go ahead and treat yourself.”
FOR DAYTIME RELAXED WEAR: His Jack Purcell sneaks paired with the “13 Rebels” motorcycle club tee is a perfect “I’m chillin” look. FYI: The 13 Rebels motorcycle club was started in 1937. Way cool! Also cool, is the toothpick dangling from Les’ mouth – lol! I like the “I don’t give a rat’s butt” attitude. Charming!
Below Les wears a Norton jacket (founded in 1898). DOPE!

PS: Don’t you just love his Harley?
