Colors, colors, colors…
After rushing from the 11am Jill Stuart to the 12pm Son Jung Wan runway show, I thought I’d be completely out of breath. Well, I was…but for a different reason. The spring/summer collection was absolutely beautiful filled with washed chiffon, silk, jersey, cotton, linen and leather with a treatment that reminded me of watercolors. My friend Diamond (seen below in black Betsey Johnson) took her seat, I took mine and videographer extraordinaire Vic jumped in his riser position. I was so happy that we didn’t miss this explosion of color! The collection was inspired by what Spanish artist Juan Miro called, “everything under the sun” with a palette of pastels such as creamy pale, light grey, sepia, royal blue, emerald green and light khaki. Son’s muse was simply a “naturally idealized” woman who has a full appreciation for nature. http://www.sonjungwan.com/

I've been trying keep us with this and life ever since:) Thanks so much for reading!View all KristySamone posts.
