Happy Tuesday Fashion Femme Fatales! How about we start the day with some sweet scents? I met Agnieszka of “Nomaterra” and her husband Benjamin at recent a “pop-up” shop event in the Barracks Row area of Capitol Hill, DC. If you’ve never been to Barracks Row, it’s an historic super cute strip filled with shops and restaurants by the U.S. Marines barracks. I digress, as soon as Agnieszka approached me with her fragrances, I immediately checked out her great fashion style! Originally from Poland, now living in Brooklyn, this world-wide traveler has created small batch perfumes based on cities from childhood travels namely: East Hampton, Miami and Washington, Dc. Being a Washingtonian, you know I tried the D.C. fragance! Said best in her words, “Nomaterra is a niche lifestyle and fragrance brand based on the concept of on-the-go beauty, or mobo beau.” I love the disposable wipes and portable perfume concept! How chic to carry on a flight? My favorite scent was the East Hampton. I can’t wait to spritz some when I’m in a NY state of mind.

Unbeknowest to me in February 2012 my sister started kristysamone.com with photos and letters I'd sent her from New York Fashion Week. She said, "I think you need a blog!" LOL! I've been trying keep us with this and life ever since:) Thanks so much for reading!View all KristySamone posts.
