Odds & Ends Volume 12: How To Dress For A Fashion Show

By KristySamone — February 21, 2013

Happy Thursday Fashion Femme Fatales! One of my favorite “sports” is people-watching, so I was right at home at last week’s NYFW. There’s nothing better than taking in all of the fierce fashion whether it be trendy or all original. I ran into these fashionistas after a show at the Lincoln Center. I loved their winter look: sexy boots, print leggings, cropped leather, bright nails and tons of wrist candy! Look out for my additional posts on Lincoln Center and New York Fashion Week street fashion.

I'm a media strategist, fashion fan and whimsical event planner. For years, I've been "reporting" from fashion shows and fabulous events to my loved one out of pure joy. Unbeknowest to me in February 2012 my sister started kristysamone.com with photos and letters I'd sent her from New York Fashion Week. She said, "I think you need a blog!" LOL! I've been trying keep us with this and life ever since:) Thanks so much for reading!

Very cute! That one gal is working that pink lipstick! I love print leggings, however, I am scared to wear them. I'm a tall girl and I have to make sure that the shirt I'm wearing is long enough to cover my rear, or else it is going to be badonkadonk central. Thoughts?

I love the pink lipstick, too! Poppin'! From your previous posts, you always look awesome in prints and leggings. I understand what you're saying about covering the "bootie." I'm the same way. However, I believe if the fabric is thick enough, it's quite fine to wear leggings (especially print) with a shorter top. The key word is "thick"...when in doubt, wear a longer shirt:) I find that Hue makes really thick leggings. Thanks loads for commenting!!
