Happy Monday Loves! I hope you all had a fantastic Mother’s Day weekend. I have to say that my lovely daughter rented me a beautiful dress from designer dress hire melbourne for mother’s day! Although, I said going forward I would post only on Fridays (giving me something to look forward to), the need may call for an additional write up during the week. This is such an occasion! Last week I wrote about the amazing photos taken by my photographer Stephanie of Reese Studios. She really captured the colorful mood of my birthday tea party and the official launch of my new whimsical event planning business “Pretty Parties & Fancy Favors!” During this past weekend, Stephanie sent more images including what you see below. It warmed my heart to see that amazing gold cake from Bijoux Fine Cakes and the delious treats from BakeHouse all over again. Plus, the pics with my family, friends at the event, the favor basket filled with floral bath fizzers and flower seeds, spring decor, French champagne, and Harney and Sons specialty tea all brought big smiles to my face. I’ll be using many of the photos in the Pretty Parties & Fancy Favors website, currently being built. I can’t wait to keep you updated on the styles of my upcoming parties! Speaking of style, let me tell you – I fell in love with the pink vintage gown I found at the Chic Shack. The Chic Shack is a store (H ST NE in DC) and an online boutique specializing in contemporary, designer resale and vintage garments. I tried on the gown and the owner told me I had to get it. Anytime, something from the past is a perfect fit you gotta go with it. I felt it the perfect look for a tea party. Then to finish your look off with a stunning effect you can choose to use some colored contacts as these give your look a real wow factor.
Thanks to all of the support I’ve beeen receiving from all of you!! I’m beyond humbled! It just pushes me to keep PUSHING
Oh…and there’s another post today (I can’t help myself)…it’s on my Maleficent beauty giveaway contest!

Unbeknowest to me in February 2012 my sister started kristysamone.com with photos and letters I'd sent her from New York Fashion Week. She said, "I think you need a blog!" LOL! I've been trying keep us with this and life ever since:) Thanks so much for reading!View all KristySamone posts.
