Happy Monday Fashion Femme Fatales and Gentlemen!! Over the weekend, while going over final itty bitty wedding tablescape details with my mother, I got a call from my sister that my three-year-old nephew Leon (known affectionately as “LJ”) was getting fitted for his tuxedo. I exclaimed, “How cuttteeee!! Send pics!!!!” My brother-in-law, who had been tasked with going with LJ to Men’s Wearhouse, graciously obliged via text. I could not stop giggling at LJ’s expression as he stood in front of the mirror! It was as if he was thinking, “I look quite dashing, if I do say so myself.” It was good for me to see this pic, because with all of the hustle and bustle of wedding planning, working, going to and fro with little sleep…sometimes it’s best to stop…relax…and take in the moment with pure joy. And that’s my plan for the upcoming wedding day. Stop. Breathe. Enjoy these last days of prep. Before I know it, there I will be standing in the mirror with my gown on. I say to you when was the last time you stopped and enjoyed the moment with the utter joy of a child? I challenge you to do so now.

Unbeknowest to me in February 2012 my sister started kristysamone.com with photos and letters I'd sent her from New York Fashion Week. She said, "I think you need a blog!" LOL! I've been trying keep us with this and life ever since:) Thanks so much for reading!View all KristySamone posts.
