More Ideas For Fall Transition

By KristySamone — August 22, 2012

Get it girl…

My friend Eden is the perfect model of how to dress “city chic.”  Having lived all over the world, this New York resident has an effortless style. Her sporty attitude isn’t only from her job at ESPN, it’s from her fun outlook on life! She demonstrates great ways to transition the warm weather wardrobe into winterwear: short sweaters with leggings and patterned hose with summer frocks. Plus, take notice of the current trend for fall: dramatic red and the top knot hairstyle.

Unbeknowest to me in February 2012 my sister started with photos and letters I'd sent her from New York Fashion Week. She said, "I think you need a blog!" LOL! I've been trying keep us with this and life ever since:) Thanks so much for reading!

Love layers for the transitional times of the year...and winter...which means nearly all the time! Cheers, Laura

I totally agree, Laura, it's the best way to stretch the wardrobe, too:)

Exactly! I have very few things that get put away in summer or winter. More in summer as the heavy knits get put away but I'll often wear a summer shirt under a winter shirt or sweater. I always think the more I wear something the lower the cost per wear which means the better bargain! And it also justifies buying quality items that may be a little more expensive. :) Cheers, Laura
