Memories of Harrods Tea and Sweet English Fancies

By KristySamone — July 31, 2012

A Spot Of Tea…

With all of the exciting Olympic coverage from London, I’m starting to flashback to my visit last year. Oh do I miss English afternoon tea at Harrods (sigh). I wish I could transport myself right now to The Team Room for crumpets, scones and butter brioche buns! Oh wait – the Olympics is supposed to inspire me to work out more…and it has…but do you see these tempting treacle tarts? MMMMM….

There is something special about high tea. Two of the best would have to be The Penninsula hotel in Hong Kong and Dromoland Castle in Ireland and believe it or not the spa the OutRigger in Fiji does a pretty amazing one too...plus the view is spectacular from there! Cheers, Laura

LOL! For awhile it seemed we did High Tea everywhere we went. So much so that we joked about traveling the world and writing a book about high tea...photos included of course. :) You can add The Windsor in Melbourne Australia to your list as you get around the world. Cheers, Laura
