Happy Friday My Loves! I have an emerging designer that I can’t wait to share with you! I was delighted to be invited to Karolyn Pho’s sophomore runway show last month in NYC. Her spring/summer 2015 collection is inspired by the story of a vagabond. Imagine the style of a nomad with a color palette inspired by the Med-Deco architecture of Miami. Also, there’s a bit of masculinity in her design. Check out the sky blue pinafore and racerback tank dresses, sequins on patch dresses and sequin back t-shirts. OH, how I adore sparkly things! Watch out for pastels to continue to be huge next season. Karolyn Pho Fall 2014 collection is sold in New York at In Support Of, Vera Meat and Swords Smith; and boutiques in Kuwait, Dubai and Tokyo.
I'm a media strategist, fashion fan and whimsical event planner. For years, I've been "reporting" from fashion shows and fabulous events to my loved one out of pure joy. Unbeknowest to me in February 2012 my sister started kristysamone.com with photos and letters I'd sent her from New York Fashion Week. She said, "I think you need a blog!" LOL! I've been trying keep us with this and life ever since:) Thanks so much for reading!View all KristySamone posts.
