Happy Tuesday Fashion Femme Fatales! I hope your week is rolling along splendidly! Mine is becoming super busy as I prepare for this weekend’s Emmy Awards. I’m beyond excited! I feel so honored just to be nominated. Many of may know, I work in television. Currently, I’m a coordinating producer (which means I set up shoots, research and compress video, schedule everything from voiceover sessions to staff vacations, deal with on-air talent and host of other stuff)…but previously I worked as promo producer with the responsibility of writing/producing spots. Last year, I produced a spot for a documentary magazine program (“Recon”) which focused on the hardships some U.S. military women have experienced upon returning from war. It was very special project to my heart for a myriad of reasons starting with the resilient women featured in “Recon: The Long Road Home.” This project was also very dear to me, because my close friend Alissa did an amazing job producing the show! I’ll be sure to post the nominated spot later this week, so you guys can check it out! Let’s get to the fashion! My dress arrived yesterday! I’m so happy! It’s by forherandforhim. com where nothing but cuteness lives! I’ll write more about the actual LWD soon (that’s “little white dress”). It’s vintage-inspired. I’m on the Gatsby bandwagon right now – lol! AprilM Jewelry was kind enough to send me some accessories to rock. I’m still trying to decide which pair of earrings (aren’t they lovely), but I know the cuff bracelet is gonna be wrist candy for sure. I found the most adorable headpiece on Etsy.com by a little shop called “CopperThimble.” All I need is my ladylike gloves. Oh and who is my date? Dear ol’ Mommy! She’s wearing a little cobalt blue number! Ah sucky sucky now! We’ve scheduled the hair appointment with the most awesome Freddie and our makeup with a new artist that I’m excited to try. Saturday will be a busy but interesting day indeed.

Unbeknowest to me in February 2012 my sister started kristysamone.com with photos and letters I'd sent her from New York Fashion Week. She said, "I think you need a blog!" LOL! I've been trying keep us with this and life ever since:) Thanks so much for reading!View all KristySamone posts.
