The ESPION: Atelier show was the perfect event for a “Fashion Femme Fatale!”
ESPION is French for the word “spy.” Heck, I felt like a James Bond chick at the Bentley Bethesda in Bethesda, Maryland where the show was held. Guests enjoyed delicious gumbo by Chef Moses (http://www.mosesjackson.com/) before listening to songs by R&B harpist Rashida Jolley – who sounded like an angel (http://ajolleytone.com/).
Deidre Jefferies, creator of ESPION: Atelier, says her design aesthetic is the future of classic clothing combining male and female elements. Her collections have been used to style celebs such as Alicia Keys, Norah Jones, Angelina Jolie and Jada Pinkett-Smith. The latest line was mid-century modern taken to another level… what Barbarella would wear if she attended cocktail party:).

I'm a media strategist, fashion fan and whimsical event planner. For years, I've been "reporting" from fashion shows and fabulous events to my loved one out of pure joy. Unbeknowest to me in February 2012 my sister started kristysamone.com with photos and letters I'd sent her from New York Fashion Week. She said, "I think you need a blog!" LOL! I've been trying keep us with this and life ever since:) Thanks so much for reading!View all KristySamone posts.
