Happy Thursday Fashion Femme Fatales and Gents!! It’s been so many wonderful shows to write about, I’m trying to keep up – lol! A designer that I fawn over season after season is Jackie Fraser-Swan of “Emerson.” She showed for the fifth time during New York Fashion Week on Sunday and per usual did not disappoint. Fraser-Swan is known to mix punk/rock elements with feminity and presented that aesthetic with this spring/summer 2014 collection. Can you say, “FUN, FUN, FUNNNN!” I would wear every piece! Seems like perfect attire for a dream garden party.Take note of the custom designed digital prints in the collection: Painted Hounds Tooth, Garden Gate and Allium Flower Field (inspired by her favorite flower). Let me tell you – I’m feeling the floral, especially the big whimsical ones in the models’ hair. In addition, I’m diggin’ the rich shades of purple, the use of b&w and the fushia in the prints! I fell in complete LOVE with the showstopper gown – check it out at 7:04 – OMG! Watch the entire runway video and pics to judge for yourself.

I'm a media strategist, fashion fan and whimsical event planner. For years, I've been "reporting" from fashion shows and fabulous events to my loved one out of pure joy. Unbeknowest to me in February 2012 my sister started kristysamone.com with photos and letters I'd sent her from New York Fashion Week. She said, "I think you need a blog!" LOL! I've been trying keep us with this and life ever since:) Thanks so much for reading!View all KristySamone posts.
