By Misha gave the most magical presentation on Friday. I had the honor of speaking with Misha Vaidya who explained the inspiration for her “Wishing Well” collection. The whimsical line including dreamy cocktail dresses, minis, wide-legged trousers, sculpted shoulder blouses, and puffed skirts. The colors were sweet: lemon-mint, rose, honeysuckle, mustard, pearl and fuchsia. Speaking of sweet, the presentation was handled by Danika Daly Public Relations, who made sure the environment was as wonderful as the collection. Guests were served fanciful flavored cupcakes by Meg’s Sweet Treats and tea cocktails by New York’s “The Teaologist.” It was fun chatting with Sara Ricklen, founder and chief polish officer for Pretty Please Nail Polish, who created a collection to match “Wishing Well.” Her site offers custom nail polishes! How cool is that? She’s wearing pink in the pic below. I’ll write more in depth about “Wishing Well” with additional photos later in the week!
BTW: This By Misha collection will soon be available on http://ilwyw.com/#!/ I’ll keep y’all posted!

I'm a media strategist, fashion fan and whimsical event planner. For years, I've been "reporting" from fashion shows and fabulous events to my loved one out of pure joy. Unbeknowest to me in February 2012 my sister started kristysamone.com with photos and letters I'd sent her from New York Fashion Week. She said, "I think you need a blog!" LOL! I've been trying keep us with this and life ever since:) Thanks so much for reading!View all KristySamone posts.
