Blonde Ambition

By KristySamone — March 12, 2012

Do blondes really have more fun?!! Well, if you live like the Ukrainian pop star beauty Nadia Kay – the answer is yes! I had the huge pleasure of meeting the singer at Emilio Sosa’s presentation during NYFW.  A joy to chat with, I immediately noticed her rock glam style. A-mazing!! We talked about everything from my ornate turquoise earrings to how she sometimes switches outfits, between events, while enroute…like outside! Now, that’s a Fashion Femme Fatale!  Recently, we had a quickie interview on her look:

Q: What’s the best way to describe your fashion style?

A: My fashion style is best described by these three words: “crazy, sexy,
cool” – it’s a mix of elegant and girly spiced up with edgy rock ‘n’ roll
accents. I love fitted clothes that hug the curves, and I’m really into
bright juicy colors – it makes me feel girly and pretty. But I also love
the mystery and the edge, so I like to rock my outfits out by adding spiked
accessories, little leather jackets, motorcycle gloves and dark sexy eye
makeup.

Q:  Who are your favorite designers and why?

A: I find beautiful clothing everywhere and wear different designers, but among my favorite are: Catherine Malandrino, Faith Connexion and Bebe, because they have the perfect mix of glamorous and edgy styles that I get inspired by. On the more “couture” level – I’m definitely a Chanel girl. I love this brand, because of the timeless elegance, beautiful quality and lots of attention to detail found in all of the pieces. I love my Chanel purse
collection, my red Chanel lipstick and Coco de Mademoiselle perfume.

Be to sure check out Nadia Kay’s upcoming third release!

“NADIA” may be her best album yet. It’s a party record packed with sex, fun and a touch of darkness drawing inpiration from her her fast NYC lifestyle!

Unbeknowest to me in February 2012 my sister started kristysamone.com with photos and letters I'd sent her from New York Fashion Week. She said, "I think you need a blog!" LOL! I've been trying keep us with this and life ever since:) Thanks so much for reading!
