Beauty Fall Trends From Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2012

By KristySamone — November 03, 2012

Happy Saturday Fashion Femme Fatales! Sparta and I are getting ready for a short road trip. It’s a little chilly out, so I’ve got my sweater, fitted denim and high boots on. I’m headed to an outside pee wee football game and I can’t wait. For today’s beauty look I’m taking cues from Tommy Hilfiger’s fall beauty trend. I’ve got a barely touched face with pulled back hair. Speaking of which, look out for sleek low ponytails and beautiful clean faces  this autumn season. “It’s about town and country,” according to Tommy Hilfiger who said to imagine dating a cadet in military school and what you both would wear for a countryside weekend getaway. Other inspirations for Tommy were a little rock n’ roll and a little equestrian, the biker pant look, and of course – denim.

The Take Home: Natural makeup and simple hair reigns as hairstylist Eugene Soleiman explained backstage at Tommy’s fall 2012 show, “It’s just kind of tight, like an equestrian hairstyle really.” The hair was blown out using Velvet Amplifier by Wella. For the makeup, a MAC moisturizer, light coverage foundation, a cream ladybug blush, brushed eyebrows, and lip balm were used on the models.

I'm a media strategist, fashion fan and whimsical event planner. For years, I've been "reporting" from fashion shows and fabulous events to my loved one out of pure joy. Unbeknowest to me in February 2012 my sister started with photos and letters I'd sent her from New York Fashion Week. She said, "I think you need a blog!" LOL! I've been trying keep us with this and life ever since:) Thanks so much for reading!
