ARISE SHOW: Tiffany Amber Spring 2013
During Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, one of the most breathtaking shows is sponsored by Arise Magazine, Africa’s foremost international style publication. Titled, “Arise Magazine Presents African Icons,” the show included premiere designers from the continent. Although all the shows were phenomenal, I couldn’t help but fall in love with the Tiffany Amber spring/summer 2013 collection. I would wear anything from it! Tiffany Amber is designed by Folake Folarin-Coker …a woman with a most fascinating background! Folake was born in Nigeria, schooled in Switzerland, England and Scotland; before returning to Nigeria in 1998 to become a lawyer. However, her love of fashion influenced by travel experiences took over and “Tiffany Amber” was launched the same year. It is now one of the most foremost fashion brands in Africa. Don’t you just love the vibrant mix of colors and prints – her looks are totally on-trend for spring 2013.

I'm a media strategist, fashion fan and whimsical event planner. For years, I've been "reporting" from fashion shows and fabulous events to my loved one out of pure joy. Unbeknowest to me in February 2012 my sister started kristysamone.com with photos and letters I'd sent her from New York Fashion Week. She said, "I think you need a blog!" LOL! I've been trying keep us with this and life ever since:) Thanks so much for reading!
