Happy Wednesday Fashion Femme Fatales! During my LA visit I had the pleasure of watching “To Be Young, Gifted and Black” with my fiance Ralph at Actors Co-op Theatres. This play was based on the life of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lorraine Hansberry. Famous for “A Raisin In the Sun,” the production featured writings from Hansberry’s diaries, plays, letters and lectures. One of the amazing actors was Ralph’s client, the talented Deborah Marlowe. For such an event, I decided to sport April M’s vintage-inspired “Periwinkle and Pink clip on earrings.” Please ENTER my spring April M Jewelry contest! The winner receives prize a $50 April M eGift1 Card! If you open an April M account you’ll receive $10 off the first purchase!

I'm a media strategist, fashion fan and whimsical event planner. For years, I've been "reporting" from fashion shows and fabulous events to my loved one out of pure joy. Unbeknowest to me in February 2012 my sister started kristysamone.com with photos and letters I'd sent her from New York Fashion Week. She said, "I think you need a blog!" LOL! I've been trying keep us with this and life ever since:) Thanks so much for reading!View all KristySamone posts.
