A Favor

Happy Thursday Fashion Femme Fatales and Gents! I must “dish” on favor details in this last post regarding our Los Angeles (second) wedding party. “Giftability” – the ability to give suitable gifts – is really important to me. I’ve always enjoyed gift selection and presentation since a little girl. In fact, my Christmas list for friends may have been longer than my personal Santa list. Ha! This sentiment is no different today. In fact, I thought long and hard about what to give our LA guests for the rooftop party. Since we had a photo booth, the decision for ornamental hand  mirrors was pretty easy (ladies may wanna check themselves out before saying cheese) and keeping with the theme of the October wedding (hearts), we added heart necklaces. The guys were somewhat trickier. For the wedding, we had gifted black bow ties and cufflinks in our wedding colors. However, for the relaxed (albeit Rat Pack) party, there was a desire to choose differently. The winner was the brown sugar cookie from Magnolia Bakery! What man doesn’t like a cookie? Ha! These were baked “homemade” style – reminiscent of Mom.  Unbeknownst to me, our awesome party photographer Rob shot me passing out some favors. The video cracked me up! Please check it out and join in on the chuckle.
