There’s nothing better than brunch with a bestie! Last weekend my girl Tina drove two hours to break bread with me. She surprised me with the cutest early bday gift (it’s May 4th) -a basket of mini perfumes, luxe toiletries and a gift card to one of my fav cupcakeries: Baked n’ Wired! We ate at Founding Farmers in DC, a modern farmhouse known for its homemade, make that “scratch-made,” meals inspired by the American heartland. A collective of farmers own it, which guarantees fresh products from farms/fisheries/ranches across the country. MMMmmgood!
For brunch, Tina went with a classic spring look: crisp Gap button up, Cremieux leggings, yellow Luxury Rebel wedges and Jessica Simpson bag. I went vintage: Giorgio Armani vest, Sicily maxi skirt, Arden B blouse and TOM wedges.
I'm a media strategist, fashion fan and whimsical event planner. For years, I've been "reporting" from fashion shows and fabulous events to my loved one out of pure joy. Unbeknowest to me in February 2012 my sister started kristysamone.com with photos and letters I'd sent her from New York Fashion Week. She said, "I think you need a blog!" LOL! I've been trying keep us with this and life ever since:) Thanks so much for reading!View all KristySamone posts.
