The 4 Corners of a Circle Fall 2012 fashion show opened with a beautiful dance followed bya collection that was minimalist yet wearable. Designer Natsuko Kanno was inspired by Japanese mythology (specifically the TENGU – half man half bird creatures that were worshipped in days past). Black, red, white copper, and cream took over the runway…it was an amazing mix of traditional Japanese looks with Natsuko’s modern aesthetic. There’s true beauty in simplicity! Don’t just take my word for it…take a look at the lovely pics!
Side note: I had a great time discussing this show with my boo Ory:)
I'm a media strategist, fashion fan and whimsical event planner. For years, I've been "reporting" from fashion shows and fabulous events to my loved one out of pure joy. Unbeknowest to me in February 2012 my sister started kristysamone.com with photos and letters I'd sent her from New York Fashion Week. She said, "I think you need a blog!" LOL! I've been trying keep us with this and life ever since:) Thanks so much for reading!View all KristySamone posts.
